'Overall, Rodenstock was again able to consolidate its position on the market in 2006, thanks not least to a rigorous modernisation of the Rodenstock brand,' the company reported.
Rodenstock's CEO Dr Giancarlo Galli said: 'The company has increased its growth rate for the third year in a row and increased its earning potential.' He added that it would expand its operations in the lifestyle segment and strengthen the brand further.
The company expects further significant improvements in sales figures and corporate results in 2007, with a long-term objective to generate sales of €750m by 2010.
