A major billboard campaign will be running in London, numerous Italian and other major European cities, while major fashion glossies will also feature the wraparound model (pictured) chosen for the campaign.
At the same time in May, the new sunglass range will be on displayed in the Gucci window in Via Montenapoleone, Milan, described by Safilo as a fundamental reference point for trend-setters worldwide.
The Gucci boutique window would be the inspiration for many other window displays with the same display concepts and eyewear, said Safilo.
The company states that the lightweight, wraparound models are sporty but sophisticated at the same time. Colours are described as sedate, in black, gun metal and grey, with lenses in smoke, amber and light grey.
Gucci is organising promotional advertising activities from May until June as part of a major press campaign for the Gucci sunglass collection.
