Charity Guide Dogs has secured a place for its sensory tunnel at next year's Optrafair exhibition.
It will be the first time that the tunnel, which simulates the experiences of a blind person using traffic and countryside noises, has appeared at an optical show.
'It is pitch black inside and so realistic - many people find it a very moving experience. Excuse the pun, but it does provide an insight into a blind person's life. Of course, we will also have Guide Dogs on our stand who will be taking people for blindfolded walks,' said Jackie Potter, Guide Dogs' corporate events manager.
