Haag-Streit slit lamp imaging contest opens

Haag-Streit has launched its slit lamp imaging competition for the sixth consecutive year and encouraged eye care professional to showcase their skills.

Judging will be based on image quality, technical execution and disease interest, and entrants were also asked to enter short videos taken on slit lamps.

Frank Wenger, head of product management for general diagnostics, said: ‘Every year, professionals from around the world compete to showcase the possibilities of ophthalmological imaging.

'By adding video into the mix, we are excited to expand on the contest’s rich tradition while celebrating the artistic potential of the slit lamp.’

Entry is open until August 9 and the winner will be announced on October 7 with prizes for first, second and third places.
