Hakim Group hosts annual retreat

Hakim Group hosted its annual retreat at the CBS Arena in Coventry on December 3-4 for its independent partners, practice teams and support teams.

Celebrity guest speakers included actress and comedian Ruby Wax and television presenter Katie Piper, and delegates also attended practice management sessions over the two-day event.

Steve Collins from James Bryan Opticians in Chelmsford was named practice manager of the year during an awards night that featured entertainment from circus performers.

Sally Litchfield, head of people at Hakim Group, said: ‘The Hakim Group annual retreat is built around creating an extraordinary environment for our teams that encourages personal growth and allows people to be the best they can be. We definitely achieved that this year and the feedback so far has been fantastic.’
