Berets, beanies and sombreros were all on show as an optical practice raised close to £300 for its local hospice.
Staff at Specsavers in Eastbourne wore their favourite hats to work for a week and set up a raffle in aid of St Wilfrid's Hospice.
Martin East, Specsavers Eastbourne store director, pictured wearing a Union Jack hat, said: 'The entire store staff took part in wearing hats all day and had a great time. This was a fantastic way to raise money for St Wilfrid's and have a bit of fun at the same time. I'm really pleased to say that our efforts have made a total of £286.48 for the charity.'
