Sussex Police Major Crime Team has appealed to Optician readers who may have treated a man who has been missing since January and is now missing presumed murdered.
Mark Manning, who was born on October 14 1959 in West Sussex, was reported missing by his sister in April of this year.
He has also used the name Michael Stone in the past, with a birth date of November 5 1960.
