Celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal launched his second eyewear collection for Vision Express at an event in London last week on Oxford Street.
The new frame range, designed through a partnership with manufacturer Inspecs, comprised 68 pieces and introduced a £50 sunglass model alongside ophthalmic Core and Signature collections ranging from £179-£209.
Speaking at the event, Blumenthal explained he had not needed glasses until the age of 40, when he set out on the design path alone. However, he broke his first eyewear creation, described as ‘looking like two magnifying glasses stuck together’, while skiing.
