Vision Express has launched an exclusive line of Heston Blumenthal eyewear created by the celebrity chef in associated with Inspecs.
The range of 36 men's and women's frames takes its design lead from Blumenthal's distinctive eyewear look plus cues from kitchen accoutrements. The collection features metal and acetate frames and went on sale nationwide last week.
VE's flagship Oxford Street store laid on a glitzy reception complete with jazz band, red carpet and celebrity guests for the launch.
Jonathan Lawson the chief executive officer of Vision Express, said Blumenthal had been closely involved with the development of the range. The partnership represented the kind of innovation and customer focus retailers required to cope with the economic environment, he continued.
