Space-bound Andrew Lodge (right) found time in his preparations for next month's launch for a trip to Optrafair.
The Stoke on Trent dispensing optician won a Transitions competition in February (News 15.02.13) to fly 23km into the stratosphere in a MiG-29 Fulcrum jet.
With a month to go before take off, he visited Neal Grimason (left), sales and marketing director of Continental Eyewear, the supplier of his Jaeger London IS frames.
'When I won the competition I said to Neal "what's the highest one of your frames has been because you're speaking to the owner of them". Watch this space, as they say,' he added.
