Hoya Sensity photochromic range expanded with fresh hue

Hoya has updated its Sensity family of photochromic lenses with the release of Sensity Green.

The lenses use the company’s Stabilight technology to allow them to perform consistently in different climates, seasons, and circumstances. Lenses darken to a category 3 sun lens faster than ever before – up to 45% darker after 90 seconds. They also quickly fade back to full clarity as soon as the ambient light intensity diminishes – up to 23% lighter after one minute.

Hoya offers the Sensity option in a range of combinations to match a patient’s individual requirements. Lenses are tailored for freeform and can be supplied in all Hoya single vision, bifocal and progressive lens designs. In addition, the lenses can be combined with all of the company’s premium coatings and come in several stock options.
