The International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) has opened its 2017 awards to educators around the world.

Sponsored by CooperVision and supported by the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA), the awards recognise achievements in contact lens education worldwide.

They will be held in Liverpool at the BCLA’S 40th anniversary event on 9-11 June.

Winners will receive a bursary of up to $3,000 towards the cost of attending the BCLA conference and exhibition, as well as a certificate to mark their award and permission to use the title of 2017 IACLE Contact Lens Educator of the Year for their region.

IACLE are also offering a Travel Award for an IACLE member starting out in their career who may not otherwise be able to attend a major international conference.

The deadline for award entries is January 31 2017.
