IAPB announces Singapore speakers

Dr Jemilah Mahmood and Ambassador Walton Aubrey Webson have been announced as keynote speakers for the 2030 In Sight Live event in Singapore on June 25-26.  

The event is hosted by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) in partnership with the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI).  

Dr Mahmood is a former special advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia on public health and Ambassador Webson is co-chair of the United Nations Friends of Vision Group.  

Peter Holland, CEO at the IAPB, said: ‘It is fantastic to have the voices and expertise of Dr Mahmood and Ambassador Webson joining us for 2030 In Sight Live. Their leadership is instrumental to achieving strategies outlined in the 2030 In Sight Strategy.’
