The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) gathered a community of 800 in person and online for the fourth annual 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal, (29 April – 1 May 2025) as part of the Global Summit for Eye Health.
In addressing delegates, Hon. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of Nepal voiced the need to recognise eye care and the event as a 'central force in shaping the broader arc of human development — from poverty reduction and education to gender equality and economic growth.'
