Fight for Sight has unveiled a new logo and slogan as part of its five-year strategy that will see it invest £30m in science and research projects. 

The sight loss charity’s new identity reflected the merger with the Vision Foundation in April 2023 and outlined a vision to ‘Save Sight. Change Lives.’ 

Keith Valentine, Fight for Sight’s chief executive, said: ‘When someone faces a diagnosis of vision loss, they face two profound questions: “Can this be stopped?” and “How do I live my life?” We fund work that offers positive answers to both questions.’

He told Optician the charity was uniquely placed to answer both questions positively, and that Save Sight. Change Lives encapsulated that vision without using jargon.
