In Focus: Independents come out on top

Consumer website Which? surveyed over 10,000 people to find the best eye care providers in the UK, asking them to rate various brands on a range of measures. 

These included value for money, practice environment, glasses quality and customer service. Respondents had to have either had an eye test or purchased glasses in the past two years.  

The data was analysed to produce overall customer scores and star ratings for different factors. For the overall ratings, Which? only included people who had an eye test and bought glasses from the same practice; over 7,000 customers in total.
