Independent’s spooktacular window displays

Sheffield-based independent, Victoria J Smith Opticians, got into the spirit of Halloween this year with a selection of eye-catching window displays including pumpkins, brooms and a witch’s hat.

‘Patients are loving our Halloween theme which was done by receptionist Kim - not, as some think, by a professional window-dresser,’ said optometrist and owner, Victoria J Smith.

The practice changes its window display about every six weeks and the team celebrates everything from the King’s coronation and ‘Back to school’ to Easter and Valentine’s day.

‘Many people, including children, come past the window to see what we have in it. We hope this draws people into the practice as well as bringing a smile to their faces. I am very excited to see what Kim has up her sleeve for Christmas.’
