Independent scores sports vision partnership

Edmonds & Slatter expanded its sports vision partnership after the independent became the official eye care providers of the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association (LRCFA).

Tim Cole, director at Edmonds & Slatter, said: ‘It’s often taken for granted, but your vision plays a huge part in any sport. It’s essential to all athletes where clarity of vision can make the difference when making a fraction of a second decisions.

‘Timing, aiming, balance, and consistency are all affected by vision. A footballer who can focus quicker or have better depth perception and peripheral awareness will have an edge over his opponents. This can make all the difference in the sporting field.’
