Demand for space has forced the organiser of Independents Day, which takes place on July 3 this year, to announce a switch to a larger function room at the venue in Birmingham.
The event will now be held in the Britannia Suite at the National Motorcycle Museum which has over 800 square metres of exhibition space. According to the event's organiser Proven Track Record (PTR), the meeting has attracted a record 35 companies to date who have committed to attend either as sponsors or exhibitors.
'It's great that so many companies wish to tie their flag very firmly to the independent mast in supporting Independents Day. It shows that the industry still believes in the importance of a thriving independent sector,' said David Goad, co-director of PTR.
