Dr Shelby Temple is awarded Innovator of the Year prize for ocular research
Ground-breaking research into polarisation and macular degeneration has earned Dr Shelby Temple of University of Bristol’s School of Biological Sciences an Innovator of the Year award from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
Dr Temple developed a device that can rapidly screen people at increased risk of age-related macular degeneration.
