Frame suppliers International Eyewear and Pennine Optical have both launched promotions to coincide with children returning to school for the new term.

International Eyewear has set up a colouring competition for children. Patients colour in the supplied postcard and are then entered into a draw to win a family pass at a theme park or attraction of their choice. Practices can win a hamper worth £200. Entries will be posted on the company’s Facebook page.

Pennine Optical, meanwhile, has offered practices a two-for-one deal on orders over 10 frames from the Street Kids and Wow Factor collections. The company said the ranges, aimed at both young children and teenagers, comprised over 30 styles, many featuring spring hinges.
