Iron Men wanted

Optician is giving readers the chance to join a six-strong squad of triathletes to take part in this year's UK Ironman 70.3 and raise money for Vision Aid Overseas.

Applications are welcome from readers who believe they can swim 1.9km, cycle 90km and then complete a half marathon at the Exmoor-based event on June 15. The Optician team follows the success of the Oakley Transitions Ironman team which took part in the Monaco Ironman 70.3 last year. Optician editor Chris Bennett said: 'Competing in an Ironman event is a life changing experience both physically and mentally.
