ISS to be held in October in Germany

​Heidelberg has revealed that the ISS will be in October in Germany

Heidelberg have revealed that the 16th International Spectralis Symposium (ISS) will be held on October 12-13 in Germany.

Due to be based in the former Plenary Chamber of Germany’s Parliament in Bonn, it will provide an overview of research and clinical applications supported by the Spectralis product family. Presentation topics include deep learning and artificial intelligence in image analysis, OCT angiography and OCT in optic neuropathies.

Krysten Williams, UK director of Heidelberg Engineering, said: ‘The ISS gives clinicians and researchers the venue and opportunity to share their discoveries and findings in a creative atmosphere. The ISS offers practitioners the opportunity to learn from their peers around the world how they can maximise the potential of diagnostic imaging to improve patient care.’
