After 50 years in the optical industry, Tony Jeffcott has retired from his position as sales director for the Midlands for International Eyewear.

After 50 years in the optical industry, Tony Jeffcott has retired from his position as sales director for the Midlands for International Eyewear.

Commencing his optical career as a laboratory technician in Coventry before moving to Framex as a sales representative, Jeffcott was then appointed sales manager for the East Midlands and East Anglia. He joined International Eyewear and soon took on the role of regional sales director, playing an important role in the company's growth.

Philip Abel, founder of International Eyewear, said of Jeffcott's retirement: 'Tony has been a cornerstone of our business and a great friend. He is loved by our staff and many customers and is a truly great ambassador for International Eyewear. On behalf of International Eyewear we wish Tony and his wife Stephanie good health and a long and happy retirement.'
