John Lewis has announced plans to open two John Lewis Opticians in its Stratford City and Cardiff department stores this autumn.
The new venture would focus on building longstanding relationships between optician and patient and would offer customers the best in eye healthcare, the company said. It added that John Lewis Opticians would feature the latest diagnostic eye care equipment including optical coherence tomography, which would be part of every John Lewis eye test.
The concessions would offer brands including Giorgio Armani, Prada and Ray-Ban as well as a wide range of children’s frames and the Evening Standard (August 19) reported that the trial opticians at the Cardiff branch was part of its link up with Luxottica, which would run the service.
