
Johnson & Johnson Vision has launched a global eye health campaign to raise awareness of how routine sight tests are linked to wider health issues.
Prioritize Your Eyes encourages the public to protect their eyes by getting an eye examination and is part of the company’s commitment to promoting eye health in 2020.
To coincide with the campaign, J&J has released Our Global Vision for Good: 2019 Community Impact Report, which details its work to provide eye care for those in need through initiatives such as charity partnerships.
Carol Alexander, optometrist and head of North America Vision Care professional relations at J&J, said: ‘Many people wait to see their eye care professional until they experience blurry vision, which may be too late. Certain serious eye conditions, as well as general health conditions, do not have any symptoms and can be detected through a comprehensive eye exam.’
