Johnson & Johnson Vision Care team expands

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care has announced the appointment of two new executives. BCLA president Shelly Bansal (left) has been hired as its professional affairs consultant and will primarily focus on practice and staff development, J&J said. Ella Ewens, meanwhile, has been appointed medical affairs manager for the UK and Ireland. Ewens arrives from New Zealand, where she worked in and managed independent practices. Both will be working closely alongside Marcella McParland, who recently joined J&J as the director of professional affairs for UK and Ireland. McParland said: 'We are honoured to have both Ella and Shelly joining the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care family. They bring a wealth of clinical and hands-on expertise both of which are invaluable to us.'
