Julian Davies Opticians hosts team day after expansion

Julian Davies Opticians hosted an event at Newhouse Hotel in August to bring staff together from existing practices and the recently acquired Batemans Opticians.

The South Wales-based independent, which is part of Hakim Group, saved Batemans from administration and retained 19 jobs at the start of 2023.

Chris Tannorella, director at Julian Davies Opticians, said: ‘It’s the people who work in our practices that make the service we offer so special. There’s been a lot of change over the past year and that can be quite tough on the whole team, so I really want to make sure that they feel seen and appreciated because they’re amazing at what they do.’
