Keeler introduces ÔhybridÕ slit lamp

u Keeler has combined elements from its two most popular models to create a new slit lamp.

The new SL-40H slit lamp features a high magnification of 40x8.5¡ converging optics and a Haag Streit illumination system.
It is essentially a ÔhybridÕ of the SL-40 and the SL-16. Keeler claims the SL-40H has high-quality drum magnification optics, which provide a greater range of magnifications than conventional optical systems and allow a beam splitter to be fitted for video imaging.
The Haag Streit ÔtowerÕ illumination system offers a wilder filter range than Zeiss-type illumination and the ability to tilt or offset the slit. The SL-40HÕs light source is a 6V, 20W halogen lamp.
Standard accessories include chin-rest papers, dust cover, spare illumination bulb and spare fuses.
