Largest ever PAC held in Birmingham

Over 1,500 delegates descended on the ICC Birmingham last weekend for Specsavers' Professional Advancement Conference (PAC).

The conference, which the multiple said was its biggest to date, featured lectures and workshops on current buzz topics like peer review, as well as an exhibition of industry and supplier stands.

For the second time in the event's history, Specsavers' hearing aid dispensers also participated.

Paul Carroll, PAC chairman and Specsavers' director of professional services, said: 'We've had some fantastic anecdotal feedback from attendees who really enjoyed the chance to sit down and discuss clinical cases with colleagues from other practices.'
