Last call for entries to the Optician Awards

Optician Awards

Entrants to the Optician Awards 2014 have just one more week (January 17) to put the finishing touches to their submissions in what will be the biggest Optician Awards event in its long history.

There are now 18 categories to enter, covering a wide range of practice and industry segments, including awards for campaigns, products and services. A number of new categories have been added for 2014, including Young Practice of the Year, for practices less than five years old, with judges looking for a winner that can prove the practice has met its goals whether clinical or fashion focused. Also new is the Leader of the Future Award, which will be presented to a newcomer who has been in optics for less than five years and can demonstrate a passion for developing the reputation of the profession. The Contact Lenses for Life Award (Teens), sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, has been added this year to reward a practice that can demonstrate it has changed the lives of its younger patient base, with patient or parent testimonials expected.
