Lens manufacturer PPG Industries recently hosted a webinar in conjunction with the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) College to highlight developments in lens materials.
Over 250 practitioners viewed the online CET-approved presentation, delivered by PPG trade manager Dora Plisic (left), PPG prescription technology director for optical materials Keith Cross (centre) and ABDO vice president Kevin Gutsell (right). Students from ABDO College attended in person.
Michael Potter, ABDO head of marketing and communications said: ‘As some members find it difficult to attend training events in person, the webinar platform offers a convenient way for them to learn how patients can benefit from innovative lens materials and to still earn a valuable CET point.’
