Bausch & Lomb launched its Nike MaxSight sport-tinted contact lens to an audience of 'key opinion leaders' at a Warwickshire golf course yesterday (August 18).
Sports vision specialists, journalists and practitioners visited the Forest of Arden hotel for presentations on the lenses' Light Architecture technology, before trying the product out for themselves on the golf course.
The result of an alliance between B&L and Nike, the soft contact lens will be available in two glare-reducing tints that filter specific wavelengths of light to aid visual performance during sport (optician, May 13).
Nike MaxSight monthly lenses will be available from -9.00 to +4.00D, including plano. A full report will appear in optician on September 2.
