Danish eyewear manufacturer Lindberg has extended its frame portfolio with additions to three of its lines.
The Lindberg 9800 Strip line has looked to capitalise on the popularity of TV shows such as Mad Men and American 1950s fashion and style. Those influences have been mixed with to date production capabilities and high tech titanium to create a modern day Clubmaster frame such as the 9802 (1). The frame features a 'sandwich' of acetate, titanium and lens, and Lindberg's ubiquitous screw-less hinge. Lindberg said the new models in the Lindberg 1000 line featured new colour schemes such as semi-transparent and matt. Also pictured (2) is the oval-shaped women's 1141 frame, with a dark brown front and new matt pink temples.
The manufacturer's dedication to rimless frames is underlined by the new additions to the Lindberg Spirit 2000 range, which features a number of new lens profiles and temple designs. Acetate now features more heavily in temple designs and for the 2171 frame, has been integrated with titanium.
