Locsu strategy refocuses on LOCs

A new strategy has been launched by the Local Optical Committee Support Unit (Locsu) that refocused its attention on the needs of local optical committees (LOCs).

The professional body said some of its activity was paused over the past three years as LOCs were assisted through the challenges of the pandemic.

Janice Foster, CEO at Locsu, said: ‘Recognising the challenges faced within the wider NHS and the important role the whole primary eye care workforce can play, Locsu will ensure we support LOCs in their vital work of increasing opportunities to secure the growth and success of primary eye care delivery to improve outcomes for patients across the country.’
