Luxottica launches online learning tool for UK practices

MyLuxAcademy.com is designed to enable practices to access Luxottica’s learning resource, Global Knowledge, and its brand training modules at any time and on any device.

Luxottica’s digital training platform, MyLuxAcademy, will go live to practices from next Monday September 28.

MyLuxAcademy is designed to enable practices to access Luxottica’s  learning resource, Global Knowledge, and its brand training modules at any time and on any device. Within the learning tool are modules on production processes, frame materials, polarisation, visual merchandising, and the latest collections.

Simon Jacobs, head of sales independents said: ‘Our goal is to empower the practice staff to feel confident around product design, features, benefits and brand stories, giving them a competitive edge and provide an enhanced patient experience when selecting frames.’

Wade Opticians in Durham has already had the opportunity to use the digital learning tool and has  completed most of the online courses. Sarah Alexander Group Manager, said ‘This is a great online training programme for all my practice staff to develop their knowledge of brands they sell every day, along with frame production and new product releases. We are now better informed when talking to our patients.
