Eyewear manufacturer Luxottica has launched a new series of training events that aims to provide optical professionals with the tools to dispense luxury eyewear more effectively. 'We developed our Luxury Training Series to give our independent practitioners a wider knowledge of the brands they're buying,' says national training manager Stuart Graham. 'We wanted to give them a deeper insight into the brands they choose for their stores and to be able to pass this on to their customers with confidence.'
He continues: 'Demonstrating to the luxury consumer that practitioners understand the quality factors of luxury brands is key. The heritage, craftsmanship and innovation, as well as the rarity of the product they are selling, are hugely important in the digital age. Giving the consumer acquired knowledge and a story to tell behind their purchase is something they will retain and return for.'
