News website MailOnline has issued an apology to Optical Express after it claimed that the multiple risked causing patients blindness through its procedures and choice of replacement lens implants.
The article, published on January 5, cited surgeon safety concerns about patients experiencing quality of vision problems after having the new Oculentis Mplus X lens.
‘We accept this is completely untrue and Optical Express has confirmed that none of its more than 600,000 patients has ever gone blind following any treatment at its clinics,’ said MailOnline in a statement on its website.
