Optical professionals around the country will this month be tickled pink to learn that they can become involved in a major fundraising initiative for Breast Cancer Care. For the next 12 months, CooperVision will donate £1 to the charity for every one month's supply of its Proclear 1 Day contact lenses sold. And, throughout October - which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month - the contact lens manufacturer will up that donation to £2. The aim is to raise in excess of £100,000 over the course of the year.
