Marcolin and Diesel have signed an addendum to the existing licence contract for the production and distribution of sunglasses and frames for Diesel by adding the sub-brand, 55DSL.
The 55DSL brand is Diesel's most recent addition to its product portfolio and is targeted at an international and urban public who live in the digital age. Marcolin said the new 55DSL collections would be inspired by the same concepts and feature punchy styles. The ranges are slated for release in early 2013.
Marcolin Group style and licensing officer Maurizio Marcolin said: 'I love the anti-conformist approach towards creativity used for 55DSL regards pop, street trends and graphics.
