Marcolin agrees deal to supply Montblanc

A new eyewear collection using the famous luxury brand Montblanc will make its debut in 2003 after a licensing agreement was signed between Montblanc and Marcolin.
Montblanc eyewear has been available for some time, previously part of the Luxury Eyewear stable of branded ranges.
However, the new agreement, signed on July 26, confirms the Italian-based Marcolin groupÕs aim to be seen as a supplier of upmarket eyewear.
ÔThanks to this new licensing agreement, Marcolin now has a portfolio of products firmly establishing it as one of the main companies in the eyewear industry for licensed brands,Õ said Maurizio Marcolin, vice-president, licensing and business development director of Marcolin.
