New partnership formed between Mark’ennovy and Brien Holden Vision Institute

A new partnership between Mark’ennovy and the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BHVI) has sought to address the areas of myopia control and presbyopia with a new soft contact lens design in silicone hydrogel.

Reacting to research that predicted half of the world’s population would by myopic by 2045 and Europe having the oldest average age of 45 by 2045, Mark’ennovy and the BHVI said they had combined their strengths to offer new lenses to combat these visual deficiencies.

The new venture will see Mark’ennovy bring its manufacturing capabilities for producing affordable, individually-crafted lenses at high volume levels, while the BHVI said it would offer its state of the art patented designs such as extended depth of focus (EDOF).
