Vista OpticsMark'ennovy is described by Vista as one of its most important customers, having sourced the polymers developed for its Saphir line of high water content silicone hydrogel contact lenses from the company three years ago.

'With our strong lathe-cut and moulding manufacturing units in Madrid, Spain and Romsey, UK, the excellent research facilities at Vista Optics make it a natural fit with Mark'ennovy.'

David Walker, who founded Vista in 1979, has now joined the board of Dealtforce, the holding company of Mark'ennovy and long-standing directors of Vista Andy Chryssolor and Don Grocott will continue to work with the company.

'Together we will ensure that Vista Optics' large international customer base for IOL and contact lens materials will continue to be strongly supported with high quality, innovative products,' said Sarrouf.
