In anticipation of the opening of its Vision Care Institute, Johnson & Johnson is launching the first of its Institute-sponsored roadshows.
Free to attend, the roadshowswillcover UV, ocular health and UV protection, patient retention and satisfaction. Delegates can earn up to 10 CET points at the events, presented by Professor John Marshall, Frost Professor of Ophthalmology and chairman of the Academic Department of Ophthalmology at St Thomas' Hospital.
Sessions include UV: the patient's view,looking at market research insights and the public perception of UV and the eye in comparison to skincare awareness the ocular effects of UV light, showing the differences between the short and long-term effects of UV exposure on the eye and the solutions to glare and visual comfort,covering the protection methods available for patients. Latest research findings will be presented andcommunication of the issues to patients.
