Maui Jim hosts Wimbledon tennis clinic

While the action at the All-England Club was paused for the traditional Sunday break, Maui Jim hosted a tennis coaching clinic just over the road on the grass courts of the Wimbledon Club. Attendees benefited from hands-on instruction from former world number one and Wimbledon champion Martina Hingis.

Speaking to Optician, Hingis said: ‘I get great protection - particularly from glare - by wearing Maui Jim. The sports models are great for on-court and the more casual models are really stylish.’

A ball-in-the-bucket competition at the end of the event raised £3,270 for optical charity Optometry Giving Sight.
