Maui Jim makes foray into fibre with Dragon's Teeth

Sunglass supremo Maui Jim uses carbon fibre to bare its Dragon's Teeth

Maui Jim has introduced Dragon’s Teeth a carbon fibre sunglass said to utilise the strength, lightness and hypoallergenic properties of the fibre while echoing the timeless ruggedness of Hawaii’s volcanic coastline.

The square silhouetted model is available in dark Navy, brown and grey stripe paired with the firm’s mirrored Blue Hawaii, HCL Bronze and Neutral grey lenses respectively. Prescriptions are available by MyMaui and Maui Readers from +3.00 to -5.50 available across mineral and organic lenses incorporated within Maui Jim’s trademark Polarization Plus and SuperThin lenses. Frame features include sprung hinges and a saddle bridge in a classic square suiting a range of face shapes. Carbon fibre nose pads and formable temple tips complete the package. The unisex frame features a medium fit with a 58mm eyesize, a 42mm B measurement and a 145mm temple length built around a base 6 curve.
