Maui Jim: Passing the test

Fashion and function is a common claim made by high end sunglass suppliers so Optician decided to put Maui Jim’s Violet Lake to the test.

Hot on the heels of Violet Lake’s Valentine debut, Optician asked a busy, yet fashion-conscious, driving instructor to see if the product performed across a busy social and work life.

The model on test featured a Bronze Maui Gradient lens in a transparent taupe and gold version of the opulent butterfly frame.

The styling was warmly welcomed with our triallist confident the model provided a great look for both business and social settings. She praised the large eye-size and was pleasantly surprised by the frame’s lightness and the comfort of the fit. She commented on the adjustable nose pads, which allowed a good fit for a petite nose; essential for long, stressful days behind the wheel.
