Maui Jim’s Sugar Beach sunglass has won two awards at the Vision X Awards in Saudi Arabia. The frame won the award as the Best Popular New Sunglass Model, as voted for by opticians and it also received the show’s Special Jury Award.
Sugar Beach is a lightweight, sporty, rimless frame with an aviator lens shape. It’s designed for a variety of face sizes and shapes and the frame is built with optical quality and robustness in mind. It has flexible and durable nylon temples and a fixed saddle-style nose bridge with rubber nose pads.
The lenses are polycarbonate and feature the company’s patented PolarizedPlus2 technology which cuts UV and glare from above, below and behind each lens. It also employs the company’s colour-enhancing technologies and waterproof and oleophobic coatings.
