Mee Healthcare has extended its tie-up with supermarket Sainsbury's with the opening of the third of seven practices planned for this year.
Its latest health centre has been opened within a Sainsbury's store at the Gallagher Retail Park, Cheltenham, and follows launches in Leeds (pictured) and Ely earlier in the year.
Four more locations are to be added by next month and the company has a target of 90 centres within the next five years. It had not been determined what proportion would be opened within Sainsbury's as standalone centres were also planned.
Mee Healthcare was founded in 2009 by Dr Gail Lese and Cherie Blair through their investment vehicle the Allele Fund to provide integrated healthcare centres for optical, hearing, dental, GP and nursing services in community settings.
