Menicon appoints professional services manager

Japanese contact lens manufacturer Menicon has appointed Piyus Tanna, a former personal development tutor and optometrist at Vision Express, to the role of professional services manager.

Piyus has worked as a chair of Northamptonshire LOC, GOC registrant reviewer, CPD author and founder of Optometry Wellness - organising the first Optometry Wellness Day in 2024 and collaborating on 60 wellbeing CPD events.

Josie Barlow, recently promoted from the professional services team to head of customer support, said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome Piyus to the Menicon team. His passion for eye care and commitment to professional development make him a valuable asset to our organisation.’
